Why FAAN Distributes COVID-19 Protective Items To Passengers In Lagos

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN this morning distributed hand sanitizers and face masks to passengers at the domestic and International wings of the Lagos airport.

Intending passengers on different routes were handed the COVID-19 items while entering the departure halls of General Aviation Terminal one, GAT.

Freight forwarders, staff of ground handling companies and customers to the Hajj and cargo section of the airport also received the COVID19 items.

The distribution of the items according to the General Manager Customer Service, FAAN, Mrs Ebele Okoye is in commemoration of this year’s Customer Service 2020 with the theme: Dream Team.

She said the gesture was to appreciate and reassure passengers, Customers and concessionaires of quality service delivery, their safety, security and comfort.

Terminal Manager of the domestic airport, Mr. Adekunle Aderibigbe while applauding the staff of the Customer service department of FAAN for their resilience in service delivery in the face of the pandemic, urged them to keep up the good work.

Some of the passengers commended FAAN for the initiative and appealed to them to sustain the COVID-19 protocols at the airports as well as their enlightenment of passengers on the need to adhere strictly to the protocols.
