Traders Donate Three Vehicles To Anambra Police

Traders at the Drug and Medicine International Market, Bridge Head Onitsha, Anambra state have donated 3 vehicles to the police in the zone.

The Chairman of the Market, Chief Donatus Ajamma said the vehicles was part of the traders’ social responsibility to help strengthen security operations.

The traders have come to realise the importance of security to the ease of doing business hence their resolve to contribute their quota towards the overall development of the state, he said.

Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr Uchenna Okafor noted that business could only thrive where there was security and commended the traders towards the realization of the state government’s ideology to provide adequate security.

Receiving the keys of the three vehicles, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the newly created zone, Mr Danmallam Mohammed expressed his resolve towards ensuring that those in Enugu and Anambra states continue to have a crime free society which in turn guarantees the ease of doing business.
