The Senate will meet Service Chiefs on Thursday (May 6) to get feedback from them on efforts to address the security crisis in the country.
The meeting was meant to hold today (May 4) but has been postponed because of the security meeting which is ongoing at the Presidential Villa.
This is the second security meeting that President Muhammadu Buhari will be holding less than a week.
The Agenda for the meeting is not unconnected with the heightened insecurity across the country.
Others are Minister of Defence, Major-General Bashir Magashi (Rtd) and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd.)
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, Chief of Army Staff; Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Naval Staff; Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amoo; acting Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba are also attending the crucial meeting.
