Governor Sanwo-Olu said the gesture was aimed at honoring Judges for their contributions to the entrenchment of the Rule of Law and encourage members of the judiciary to carry out their functions efficiently and effectively.
The Governor who described the Judiciary as the bedrock of the society and the last of of hope of the common man, renewed his promise to overhaul infrastructure at the High and Magistrates Courts.
“We are ensuring that our judiciary has all it takes to seamlessly perform its duties as the bastion of the common man, we thank you for justifying the confidence reposed in you; we appreciate you for being independent umpires even when the stakes are high”. Governor said”
The Chief Judge, Justice Kazeem Alogba commended the Governor for the gesture and promised that the judiciary would remain steadfast in ensuring quick dispensation of justice.
