Pastor Chris Labels Bakare And Others “Un-believers” For Refusing To Re-Open Their Churches.

LTR: Pastor Adeyemi, Pastor Tunde Bakare and Pastor Chris Oyahkilome

During a church service a few days ago, Pastor Chris Oyakilome,  the senior minister of Christ Embassy world-wide made some bold statements regarding the state of religion in Nigerian and COVID-19.

According to several reports, some pastor which include Pastor Tunde Bakare, Pastor Sam Adeyemi and a few other have refused to reopen their churches out of caution since the lifting of the church gathering ban by the Lagos State Government.

Pastor Chris who appears to be unhappy about this have some things to say during his sermon on sunday.

He said that the outbreak of the novel virus has revealed the true nature of some churches and ministers in the country.

Pastor Chris went on to make claims of his God given healing powers healing powers and his unshaken faith in God’s ability to protect him from infectious diseases.

“I have laid hands on some of the most infectious people on earth and had no fear of being infected. The Word of God guarantees life in Christ.” He said.

He went on to say “When you get to that point where you are afraid of opening churches for fear of being infected, you have denied the faith. You never believed,”

According to him, A preacher’s fear and disbelieve can put them in bondage. “If Jesus is real and you have him inside you, shouldn’t you be a healer of diseases? Should you be afraid?” He said..

Pastor Chris clearly had clearly had mixed feeling towards pastors and preachers who are not bold enough to reopen their churches, he believes the power of Jesus is sufficient to protect the believers.

The Bible says ‘if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them’. Don’t you believe that? Do you question the validity of the words of Jesus?
If these things are not true, then what is true? If one part of the Bible is not true, then what is true?
