More Than 70 People Escaped Death In Lagos Building Collapse

Over 70 occupants of a 20-room building, including children have escaped death after a building collapsed in Ajegunle, Lagos.

According to witnesses, The storey building had showed signs of deterioration before it collapsed on Thursday.

The police and emergency workers were able to evacuate all trapped occupants of the building.

According to the Director General (DG) Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), there were 29 adults comprising 14 females and 15 males as well as 48 children in the premises.
