Minister, Organised Labour To Discuss Over ‘State Of Economy’ Today

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige to meet with the organised labour, to hear their grievances over the state of the economy.

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige to meet with the organised labour, to hear their grievances over the state of the economy.

The minister stated this on Friday to State House correspondents after he met with the President.

Dr. Ngige said the meeting is expected to hold on tomorrow, (Saturday) in Abuja.

He said government finances, challenges and sacrifices would be laid bare for the labour unions.

Commenting on a planned strike by the tripartite unions of the non-academic staff unions of universities, Dr Ngige said government had already invited them to a meeting.
