It was reported in Echonews.ng that all the primary schools visited are lacking classroom furniture, good and healthy structures, good fence for security purpose as hoodlums have turned Low Cost Estate Nursery and Primary school to their abode.
“The pathetic situation of the primary schools visited seriously needs the intervention of the state government to secure the foundation of primary education in a conducive learning environment,” she commented as she promised to give report of the schools to the state government for urgent intervention.
However, all the secondary schools inspected in Oshodi such as Ikeja Junior/Senior Grammar Schools, Bolade Junior/Senior Grammar Schools and Oshodi Comprehensive Junior/Senior High Schools were certified by the commissioner, confirming their readiness for resumption.
