FG Plans To Provide 2000 Vehicles To Reduce unemployment Rate

The Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, George Akume says the Federal Government is tackling unemployment with provision of 2000 vehicles to Cooperatives.

He stated this at a Stakeholders meeting on Poverty Alleviation in Abuja.

Akume explained that the vehicles were to make members of cooperative society self-reliant.

Minister of State for Transportation, Gbemisola Saraki said sustainable growth at the rural communities would be achieved with transportation of produce to the urban areas.

Managing Director of Federal Housing Authority, Gbenga Ashafa in a message said the agency would support the initiative to empower unemployed Nigerians.
