Federal Fire Service Promotes 1176 Officers

Federal Fire Service (FFS) has promoted one thousand one hundred and seventy-six officers to the next rank.

The Controller General, FFS, Dr Liman Ibrahim decorated the promoted office in Abuja.

He appreciated the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and Board of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire & Immigration Services for approving the elevation of the personnels.

Dr Ibrahim called on the promoted officers to rededicate themselves to the service of the country while assuring the personnel of a better working environment.

The Controller General also congratulated the Director, Finance and Accounts of the Service, Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi who has been appointed a Permanent Secretary.

He expressed confidence that Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi’s wealth of experience would be brought to bear on his new position for the benefit of the country.
