Fans Fear As #RIPEminem Trends On Twitter.

Everyone knows the scare when a beloved star’s name trends, and wondering why.

Eminem fans were particularly concerned last night, when the hashtag ‘RIP’ started trending.

Marshall Mather III aka “Eminem” was feared to be dead by people after the #RIPEminem began trending on Twitter, despite the 47 year old rapper being very much alive.

The hashtag initially became a top trend in the US, with some fans of Eminem believing that the rapper had passed away on August 18.

Whereas, it seems that the trend streamed from one Twitter user, who declared: ‘I have killed Eminem’.

The account, with the handle @ levic**sock, also reportedly tweeted the hashtag #RIPEminem numerous times before going private.

With the trend initially causing major concern on social media, It later turned into a meme-we all know the internet.
