Hundreds of youths protesters this afternoon have continued to register their grievances over the incessant police brutality on the innocent Nigerians.
The protesters were seen early today along Ikotun- Idimu road, area of Alimosho as many of them were shouting SARS must go.Some of them also blasted the present government for not living up to expectations of Nigerians.
Our correspondent who witnessed the lingering protests in a chat with some of the protesters said they are tired of the present government for inability to take the country to next level.
Engineer Abraham Arase one of the protesters told our correspondent that the continued protests nationwide is long overdue saying that the protests are a wake-up call for the governments at all level to do the needful.
“The only solution to this lingering protest is that let the President Buhari retire all the serving chiefs secondly let the government release those SARS detained unlawful and government should also overhaul the police. If all these are done, I think the problems may be solved,” he said.
Another protester, Emma Chima expressed disappointment that the government has failed Nigerians saying that until government overhaul the entire sector and move the economy forward, the better for the country.
The protests had started nine days ago as the youths vowed to continue their protests until government addressed their demands.
