Eleven Suspected Fraudsters Arrested In Osogbo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Office has arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters in Osogbo, Osun State Capital.radionigeria reports.

Acting on intelligence, operatives of the Commission swooped on their hideouts in Osogbo where they picked the suspects.

The Commission impounded 12 cars which includes; 3 Toyota Highlander SUVs, 1 Mercedes Benz GLK 350 SUV, 1 Acura SUV, 2 Honda Crosstour, 2 Toyota Venza and 3 other Toyota brands.

Also seized from the suspects were phones, laptops and other devices.

In a telephone interview with radionigeria, EFCC spokesperson, Mr Wilson Uwujaren said the suspects were in custody of the Commission for interrogation. Mr Uwujaren added that they would be charged to court for trial.

Upon their arrest, the suspects, who were all young persons claimed to be students, artisans, farmers and businessmen.
