COVID-19:NGO Donates Protective Materials To Police

A US-based NGO, Global Step Foundation has donated Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, worth millions of Naira to the police to help encourage them in the fight against insecurity in the face of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Receiving the materials, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, commended the Organization for the effort and gave an assurance of continued and adequate protection of all Nigerians and Organizations.

IGP Adamu pledged to collaborate with the Global Step Foundation in areas of ICT and training on universal precaution to stop the spread of diseases.

The Chief Operating Officer, Dr Samuel Cornelius described the police as the nation’s Frontline of defence and needed the support of every Nigerians.

Thousands of facemasks and anti-malaria drugs were among the items donated.
