Aviation Lions Club Donates Textbooks To Lagos Schools

The Ikeja Aviation Lions Club has donated various types of textbooks to boost the library and academic performance of students of the Murtala Mohammed Airport Schools in Lagos.

At the presentation of the textbooks to the school, President of the Ikeja Aviation Lions club, AbdulRamah Musa said the books would help to equip the students to acquire more knowledge preparatory for any examinations.

He said the donation was their own contribution to assist the students to study hard and also help the teachers to carry out their job effectively.

Text books donated includes Mathematics, English, Science, dictionaries and story books for primary, Junior and Senior secondary Schools.

Receiving the 70 textbooks on behalf of the Management of the school, the Head Teacher, Mrs Felicia Fatuade commended the Ikeja aviation Lions Club for the gesture and assured that the textbooks would be deployed for use accordingly.

Mrs. Teris Ihenacho of Guiding Lion of the Club, appealed to them to stay clear of any activities that would destroy their academic career in life such as cultism and evil Association.

She also urged parents and the teachers to monitor their children and students with assignments and other extra curriculum activities for better academic performance.
