Past Assistant Governor of Lagos Rotary Club, rotarian Femi Adenekan has charged executive members of Rotary Club Of Egbe District 9110, Nigeria to recruit new members and ensure that they are given more responsibilities in order to contribute meaningfully to the club.

I want to say it is not so. Rotary Club nowadays accommodate artisans, and lower average people provided the members are paying their annual dues.

I want to urge Egbe Rotary Club executive members to recruit more members, give them responsibilities so that they would be active in the club.

There should be no discrimination among the new and old members and also there should be training and re-training programs for new members quarterly so that the club would grow mentally and in numbers, “he said.

The speaker also tasked the Egbe Rotary Club not to forget their social responsibilities in the communities saying that it is their commitment to society would bring fortune to the club.

In his response, President of Rotary Club of Egbe District 9110, Rotarian Taiwo Lasisi expressed gratitude to the guest speaker noted that the club will strive hard to recruit more vibrant young people to join the club.

He said the seminar was organized to remind both new and old members their responsibilities as member of Rotary Club.
