US Supplies COVID-19 Mobile Hospital To Nigeria

US Africa Command, AFRICOM has donated a 40-bed mobile hospital to the Nigerian government for the treatment of coronavirus.

The US Mission in Nigeria said in a Facebook post that the structure has been assembled at the Federal Medical Center Jabi, FCT.

It said the negative pressure Alaska Structures Field Hospital was built in the USA and assembled in Abuja by an all-Nigerian team.

The unveiling was done by the Minister of State For Health, Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora and US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Leonard.
