NCDC Reports Lowest Number Of Covid-19 Deaths

Three more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria being the lowest figure in weeks. The national death toll from the infection is put at 1,361

There are 18 states reporting 1,244 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of confirmed cases now 101,331

Lagos has 774 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-125; Plateau-102; Anambra-47; Ondo-46; Rivers-27; Edo-18; Kaduna and Ogun-16
Gombe-16 each.

Bauchi and Kano have 11 new Covid-19 cases each; Nasarawa-10; Akwa Ibom and Sokoto-7 each; Borno-5; Ekiti-4 and Zamfara-2.

Meanwhile, 144 community recoveries are reported in Lagos State as 461 Covid-19 patients are discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with total number of successfully treated cases now 80,491.
