Abdulgafaar Liameed, Chairman of 36 Lion FC
As part of preparation for the forthcoming Nationwide League One , Messiah Football Club would face a professional club side, 36 Lion Football Club in a friendly match scheduled for Wednesday at FIFA legacy pitch of National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The much anticipated friendly tie would kick off by 3pm promises to be explosive.
The friendly match would be tough for both sides as Messiah FC would use the game to prepare further for National League One, NLO, while 36 Lion FC would do everything to avoid any upset against their opponents.
Messiah FC recently beat Lion Heart FC 4-1 in a friendly match which gives the coaching crew led by David Dosu to face 36 Lion FC in another tough friendly match.
Abdulgafaar Liameed, Chairman of 36 Lion FC confirmed to our correspondent that their game against Messiah FC would be tough because of football pedigree of both sides in Lagos.
“It is going to be a tough match for both teams because it is a friendly match that both teams would like to fight for supremacy. It is a game that would bring the best out of players and all I can say is that we would give Messiah FC a good fight,” he said.
But Dosu who is in charge of Messiah FC said he would approach the game with all seriousness but admitted that their opponents would be a nut to crack.
